    I know Ametyst Hotel since many years. But it was the first time, that I got a room, which was not satisfying my needs. It was extremly small, one small bed, directly at the wall and the room was very dark.
    Room Nr. 111 !!
    But, neverthelss, I like the Hotel and I will come back , but not to room 111.
    The Service of the drivers from and to the hotel was excellent. The price was absolutly fair , the cars clean with a lot of space and the drivers were very polite.

    • Hotel is very nice with good management ( Mr. Deufl ) Only room 111 should not be soled to business peaple.

    Noise late at night outside my room door...wolken up twice on my first too nights...

    Hotel mini bar way over priced....

    make sure you decide on room price before you stay, may tag on extras to visa card...

    Our answer: The reconstruction is taken on the 1st floor from 10:00 to 18:00 and will be finished on 31. 3. 2007.
    Money from the Visa were taken because of the use of mini bar and got higher because of reduction from one currency to another (from EUR to CZK).

    Negatives

    • Hotel staff charged me more than agreed amount and when they were told about it,would not admit they were wrong.
    • They took money from my visa a/c wrongly and without my authorisation..

    • We had a quality, well appointed room with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant provided a quality meal when we arrived and the service was of a high standard.

    Very pleasant Stay. Staff where very welcoming, friendly and had a sense of humour. Housekeeping was exceptional and should be praised for their efforts

    • the staff was very friendly and they always arranged everything we needed.
    • we were glad, that you've had 'hotel-drivers' - so, my 'handicaped' mother
    • was able to enjoy Prague also.

    • Spiders in the room (web's in front of the window)
    • the traffic noise - caused by some crazy drivers during the night is hardly to stand.

    Much better than discribed in holiday litrature,we enjoyed every aspect of this very well run hotel. The food was top class, friendley service at all times.
    We will recomend to our friends.

    Classed as a comfort hotel, but very much better. Very well run. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and pleasant hotel. Good menu if you feel like lazying. Good area to stay - nice small bars/restaurants close by and better food and value thn town centre. 10 minutes to main square.
