    This was a rare weekend getaway for my husband and I. Hotel Constans did not disappoint. The location is very quiet and off the beaten path but very close to Charles Bridge and the castle. Each evening we felt we were leaving the fray to come back to our sanctuary. Breakfast was beautifully displayed and plentiful. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room and bathrom were quite large and furnished with everything we needed. Window views were beautiful. One drawback was the heat because of the 5th floor location. Fortunately we could open the windows and get a wonderful evening breeze. During the day we pulled the curtains to keep the bright sun from beating down and this made the room much cooler that evening. I think they had an air conditioning unit but we did not use it. Prague is more expensive than we anticipated but a wonderfully romantic city in which to enjoy a stroll, some good international food and music from the entertaining groups on the Charles Bridge to the many concerts offered at several city venues.
