Hotel Černý slon-jako vždy velmi spokojena,útulný hotýlek v centru Prahy.Bydlím tu pokaždé.
Možná jen lepší TV.

Loved the hotel, its history so well maintained. Location for sure awesome, as is the breakfast. Shower situation was a bit awkward way shower head did not stay up well. AC wonderful as well.

Beautiful hotel, in a great location. It's just off the old town square right in the thick of things. We had a room on the top floor which was massive, with a lovely view over the small square below. The facilities were good, although no tea/coffee making equipment in the room. There was an air conditioner which was a must during the summer (we went at the start of July). Being a listed building there is no lift and the top floor is quite a climb, which was fine for us but probably not suitable for older (or very unfit) people. It can be quite noisy at night, although with the windows closed and the air conditioner on we did not get disturbed. Only real disappointment was some of the staff, who were pretty efficient but also quite unfriendly. This place represents good value for money I think.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had in my travels to Prague. I will most definitely return, and when I do I will book my stay exclusively with Hotel Cerny Slon (Black Elephant). I cannot express how nice of an environment the hotel provided, and how welcoming the staff truly is; everything was perfect.

The hotel was really nice, but it is not real 4 stars in EEU meaning of this category. I also was surprised by the lack of information about car parking in the street - the blue line means "resident only", but I knew it only when I got a penalty notice on my window :) I also wasn't ready to the fact that Euro is not there yet, so all the cash payments are to be made in CZK. The exachnge rate in the offices vary from 20 up to 26 to euro. Luckily they do accept credit cards :)

Excellent accommodation

We found Athos Travel very easy to work with. The staff were completely fluent in English and very flexible--even when our plans changed due to flight problems. We were met at the airport on time for our transfer, our guided tour was terrific and the hotel charming. We would definitely use their services again.

We had an excellent stay and it was SO ideal for it's location. I would recommend it without hesitation!

Location superb; rooms are spacious and clean; staff are friendly and good english speakers; good breakfast and restaurant; also have a good bar for those drinks after a long days walking.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location.
